Day 1 – Day of Departure
Today we depart for the capital of the Grand Canyon State – Phoenix, Arizona. Upon arrival, we will be met and transferred to our hotel.
Day 2 – Sedona – Red Rock Country
We depart for Sedona – “Red Rock Country”. This picturesque city is surrounded by red-rock monoliths named Coffeepot, Cathedral, and Thunder Mountain. At the north end of the city is the stunning Oak Creek Canyon– a breathtaking chasm. We will also have a jeep ride to give us that close-up view. This is a great day for shooting, shopping, and just enjoying the natural beauty.
Day 3 – Free Day
Sit back and enjoy the weather, the pool, or whatever else is your fancy.
Day 4 – Papago Park – the Desert Botanical Garden
A short drive from our hotel brings us to one of the world’s finest collections of desert plants. This is a great place for “micro-photography”, and our photographic safari will give us plenty of opportunities to get that great shot.
Day 5 – The Grand Canyon
Visiting one of the true wonders of the world will be an unforgettable experience. Stops are made along the east and south rims. Awesome views, an awesome experience, and awesome photographic possibilities.
Day 6 – Free Day
Today could be a day for optional excursions, balloon ride, anyone?
Or, you could just soak up the rays of the beautiful southwest before returning home.
Day 7 – Departure
We will be picked up from our hotel for a transfer to the airport and our return flight.
